The last match of the 1st Exhibition-Intercup 2022, according to many, was supposed to be a kind of final – a fight for gold medals, but the Moscow army men had completely different plans and, having won all the matches of the tournament, Rodin's wards secured the first place in advance.
In the last match, the fate of the silver medals was decided, the teams had an equal number of points, that is, this confrontation had no pitfalls – winning even on penalties provided the team with second place.
The meeting began on a collision course, the teams looked at each other for a while, although everyone has known each other for a long time, and some of the Kristall players are Russian national team players at all. The first goal happened in the eighth minute – Chuzhkov, after a save, threw the ball to Makarov, who, breaking through on the flank, sent the ball into the far corner of Kosharny's goal. Two minutes later, Likhachev's wards responded – Kotenev was ahead of Chuzhkov, intercepting the ball right from under his nose and sent the leather sphere on target with the second touch.

However, after one turn of the second hand, Alexey won back one ball after drawing a corner, and this time Shkarin's mistake, which could not interrupt the transfer, contributed to this in many ways. Five minutes later, Gapon gave a great squeeze on someone else's patch of the same Shkarin. Having selected the ball, Oleg sent a projectile from a rather sharp angle along an intricate trajectory to the far corner of the goal. In the third period, the nature of the meeting was preserved – in the thirtieth minute Raskin fumbled with the ball on the flank, as a result of which a free kick was awarded from the center of the field. At first, Paporotny approached the ball, but after a short discussion, Makarov took the ball and absolutely for good reason. Alexey "charged" from the center of the court directly into the "nine" - without a chance for Parkhomenko.
After the fourth missed ball on the field, the Russian squad had a Nightmare. But for a while it didn't pay any dividends. At the thirty-third minute, Zemskov came to the aid of the team, as always, who managed to adjust to the transfer after a corner and managed to squeeze the ball through himself into the near corner of Chuzhkov's goal. When it seemed that everything was going to extra time, trouble for the "Kristall" came from nowhere. At first, Chuzhkov did not hit the shot very cleverly, after which Remizov managed to adjust to the rebound and sent the ball into the net with a blow through himself, and at the same time his club partners to the third line "1xStavka-Intercup 2022".

"Naturally, the task for the tournament for the national team was to take only the first place. Unfortunately, yesterday's game with CSKA absolutely did not work out - we were a little unlucky in the penalty shootout, so we lost. In my opinion, the army team deservedly won the tournament, beating Kristall and the Russian national team.
In today's match, everything somehow worked out - both the skill of the players and luck. And it was lucky that it bounced so, and Dima Samokhvalov hit inconveniently for Maxim Chuzhkov that he had to fight back. The whole thing resulted in a goal. And of course Alexey Makarov didn't make it and I scored (smiles)."

InterCup is a pre-season tournament, it is clear that somewhere new combinations were played, somewhere mutual understanding may not quite work out. And some ridiculous goals, ricochets. The fact is that we have what we have. The third place is "satisfactory."
